Aug. 2001 Completed Testing of the New Switch Life
We have just completed a new switch life tester that will allow us to mechanically cycle our switches 300,000/cycles per day. The tester has 4 stations and will be used to perform endurance testing on the new proportional modules, new leaf spring design and the new rocker actuators currently under development. Our goal is to have our products last at least 10 million cycles.

June 2001 3D handle Sketches for Our Customers
In an effort to improve our service when customers are looking for a custom handle, we have just completed a package of 3D handle sketches that we can quickly modify to show what a completed handle will look like with custom switch configurations. Now for example: if you specify a "L" Series handle with an on/off toggle, 4 momentary buttons and 1 maintained button we can easily create a 3D drawing so you can see what it will look like before you order it.

May 2001 We have been selected by NRC
Sure Grip Controls Inc. is proud to announce we have been selected by the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada to receive financial assistance in the development of a ultra miniature proportional valve driver module. The NRC provides guidance and support to innovative Canadian companies involved in the development and application of advanced technologies.

March 2001 "C" Series Control Grip with up to 5 Functions
Announcing the release of our new "C Series Control Grip" with up to 5 functions. It is available with either a 2 or 4 button faceplate, single trigger and all of the usual switch options. It is also designed to accept our new proportional modules that will be available in early 2002.

Feb. 2001 Sure Grip Is Your Best Choice
Sure Grip handles are quite often used to replace other control grips for new attachments or when more switch functions are needed. We have a variety of threaded bushings and joystick boot adapters that will help make the installation easy. We offer threaded bushings in just about any thread size you can imagine. We also have bushings with set screws or machined with a clamping collar. Over 80% of what we sell is custom designed by our customers so if you don't see what you need all you have to do is "ask".
