Proportional Buttons + Trigger
When the Variable Voltage modules are supplied in a faceplate, they are activated
using a Flexing Button. This is a special flexible dome shaped button that
houses a small magnet. As the button is depressed the magnet is simply moved
closer to the module which increases the output signal. The further the button is
depressed, the higher the output signal from the module and because there is no
contact or wear between the parts, the estimated life is more than 5 million cycles.
The Proportional Trigger works much the same as the flex buttons. There is a small
magnet embedded in the proportional trigger lever. As the trigger is depressed it is
simply moving the magnet closer to the Variable Voltage Module to increase the
output signal.
